You'll get faster results with the NHS. I ordered a blood test, had to wait for 30 minutes upon arrival at the clinic to enter, and then a further 10 minutes in a crowded room (not COVID-secure) before they took my sample. I was told I'd receive results within 6 working days. It's been more than 6 working days and no-one at Medichecks can give me an accurate estimate of when my results will be ready. Every time I phone them, they say they'll check and email be back but never do. Don't waste your money!
Received my results on April 1st 2021 and they are way off - so off that it's unbelievable - if you compare them to my hormone panel from January 2021 it makes absolutely no sense and leaves me with no trust in medicheck results
I am 35 year old female
Testosterone when tested with medichecks in January Test: 0.91 nmol/L
April Test: 51.6 nmol/L (That's higher than my boyfriends Testosterone and he has TRT. I do not supplement.

April Test: 1,282 mU/L !!!!!
I'm sorry but it is completely impossible for these results to be true, I'd have hair loss, acne, body hair, irregular periods (mine are regular) and some serious weight gain if my levels were like this - I have none of this. I've spent too much money to be given inaccurate results like this and to also be given generic automated Doctors notes to go with it
and then to top it off - scare me by telling me to get immediate help from my GP
I have rang medichecks and they said that someone would get back to me with an explanation - the only response I've had is 2 automated emails saying that they've stopped using one of the Labs that they use
I've completely lost trust in medichecks

Exceptional service....from kit arriving to results was 6 days. Dr's report provided was very detailed and informative.
Medichecks is Scamming people by selling tests online which aren’t performed by their lab. Does not deserve a single star.
After I sent my sample and it reached their lab, I received an email from medichecks a day later that their lab does not perform this test and that I shouldn’t send my sample. There was no mention of my refund as well. Absolutely shocked and disgusted by their fraud service. Why is medichecks selling tests online when their labs isn’t performing it ?? Beware of these scammers!!
Would you trust a company that can’t even be bothered to spell correctly? This is from their website - IgG antibodies form after IgM antibodies and form the basis of long-term protection against infection. The presence of candida albicans IgG antibodies reflects a past or ingoing candida albicans infection. ‘Ingoing?’ You mean ongoing as ingoing isn’t a word. And this is a deceiver statement as antibodies tests do not prove a candida infection as you could have a a million infections from fungal to bacterial to viral. The three main antibodies means you have, or had an infection. The body doesn’t have a million antibodies for a million infections it has five, upon infection you then must get more in depth testing. Absolute scammers! The internet has given a rise for scammers to such an insidious level. Be careful people.

Done everything by instructions but my test came back insufficient!
Have been offered another free test or either to go and have it done by nurse for additional cost , which I didn’t want to pay and if I would consider that I would have it done cheaper elsewhere!
It’s already couple of weeks and my second kit haven’t arrived!
Asked for refund but they refuse !
Money makers and scammers ! I don’t recommend
I had the Medichecks Testosterone Fingerprick test done and it came back way, way above normal. I then went to my NHS GP and was retested using a blood sample and my levels came back normal. Medichecks then retested me using a venous blood sample and also got a normal result. WARNING: Medichecks Fingerprick Tests are NOT ACCURATE AT ALL! Get a venous test, avoid the fingerprick tests that are totally inaccurate.
I was a bit worried after reading other reviews but my experience was great. They had my results within 2 days as promised and they sent emails to let me know my sample was received/my results were available. It's reassuring to know everything is fine with my thyroid. The only thing was that I found drawing the blood very difficult. I had to use all 3 of the lancets and had to use 3 different fingers which all had huge bruises on them the next day.
I think it’s important that people know that doing a finger pr*ck blood test can be a delicate and tricky task. However, once you know what you are doing and get it right, it’s simple enough.
I read lots of reviews that state the service is bad but I disagree - I just think the process is easy to mess up, for example not filling the tube up with enough blood, not handling it properly or not getting it posted to the lab quick enough.
I would advise doing the test on a Monday, and posting immediately to a priority post box. The lab received my test the following morning at 9am and by Friday late afternoon my results were available to view online. It was incredibly detailed and gave me lots of information and ways in which I could improve my general health.
I bought tests for my husband, and its painful process. all the filling in of forms/the tubes/posting. Not to mention the squeezing of the blood. Test results came back error. yes go private rather than use this company. the people who answer the phones are obsessed with security details and would not let me discuss my husband's case even though I provided with as much details as possible and had his passwords etc saved. painful and more painful. find an easier option to monitor blood levels.
Ok so I have to start by saying I couldn’t get enough blood for the test. However medichecks were in touch immediately , they will send a retest (I really feel it won’t make a difference) and also said I could go to a clinic for not much more for a proper venous blood removal which I declined. My advice is look online before as to how to get a great sample out of your finger and follow the tips!!! . It’s not their fault and the service has been great. Just not a success for me.
